kenneth laidlaw has passed away. kenneth was a great friend of bhcr and had been an honorary member almost from the very inception of the club. he was always a great help and source of experienced advice during the early years of the revival – keeping us on the correct path with regards to msa matters. he assisted the bo’ness committee for a lengthy period and also acted as the msa steward at our 2016 hill climb meeting. kenneth was a highly respected msa official and acted in this capacity all over the uk. he was always smiling and always good company even when his health was failing him unsung, role of scotland’s and the uk’ s motor sport history. most of the great names in motor sport have competed at bo’ness, jim clark, jackie stewart, stirling moss to name but a few. as the cost of staging the bo’ness revival hillclimb increases year on year the organising team are continually seeking ways to keep the revival alive and viable. one of the ways we have helped achieve this aim is by promoting the bo’ness revival classic side of the event, which has grown into one of the major events on the scottish classic car scene. we do not make claims about the revival as a whole being
